The season of gratitude and giving back is upon us, and we're excited about it! As a top audio-video consultant group, you might assume that our only passion is audio and visual integration, but there's much more to us than that. As a local, Houston-based business, we value giving back to our community. It's how we like to say "Thank you" to a city that supports us while doing our part to ensure that Houston stays strong, resilient, and successful.

Grateful Giving: Your November Challenge

The rest of the world might be focused on "Mo-vember" to promote men's health (and we think it's a pretty cool idea!), but at CAS, we're turning our eyes to how we can give generously within our own local community. We'd like to challenge you to do the same! So here are a few fun and practical ways that you can go about making a difference in our area this season:

• Volunteer: Give your time and energy to a cause you care about. Whether it's reading to children, serving meals to the unhoused, or cleaning up a local park, volunteering is a fantastic way to show your gratitude and keep your community healthy and happy.
• Donate: The non-profit organizations that provide help and relief for the Houston area are always in need of donations. Clean out your closets and offer up gently used clothing, or consider a cash donation to a great cause. You can also donate your services. For example, we've offered audio-video services to various causes in the past in order to help with events, etc.
• Shop for a Cause: Look for companies that contribute to the community, and make it a point to do business with them. Sure, online shopping can be convenient, but sticking with local businesses supports the Houston economy while ensuring that positive contributions are made right in our own backyard. At CAS, our favorite non-profit is Lifting Families Together (LIFT). One of the main reasons people love working with us is that they know we support this awesome cause. Of course, they also love our expertise in audio and video services but let's not get side-tracked here!

Join Us in LIFT-ing the Community

We'd be delighted to have you join together with us in supporting LIFT. Lifting Families Together focuses on helping families with children who are suffering from health issues. The LIFT annual gala is on Saturday, November 19, 2022, with the theme of "Giving Families Hope." There are several fun ways you can get involved with the gala and this great cause!

• Attend the Gala: Enjoy a beautiful evening of giving back to the community with live entertainment.
• Enter a Raffle: The prizes at this year's gala include a Barbados vacation package, an electronics package with an iPad, Apple Watch, Echo Dot, etc., a premium gift card basket, and more.
• Donate: Make a straightforward donation to LIFT in whatever amount is comfortable for you.
